Chimney Cleaning in Shavano Park, TX

Sweeping Shavano Park Chimneys: Multi-Flue Custom Stacks

What comes out of a Shavano Park flue depends on the house. Most of our sweeping here is in large custom estates with two or three fireplaces venting through one stack, and the usual pattern is several fireplaces in one house, each used at different rates. That use pattern leaves a different deposit than a chimney that runs hot every night, and we adjust brush heads and technique to it. We work across Shavano Park, Bentley Manor, Huntington and NW Military Highway.

Short burn seasons are actually harder on a chimney. Fires in Shavano Park homes are often lit for one cold week at a time, which means cool flues, slow-burning wood and heavier creosote glaze than a chimney that runs hot all winter.

We also find a lot of nesting debris and blown-in leaf litter in Bexar County chimneys during sweeping. Anything blocking the flue pushes smoke and carbon monoxide back into the room, so clearing the passage is as important as removing soot.

Scheduling in Shavano Park is straightforward: we cover Shavano Park, Bentley Manor, Huntington and NW Military Highway on regular routes, and a standard sweep with a condition report is normally a single visit.
